Biography
| Michael Murray graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2000 with a degree in Product Design, but then developed an interest in computer game art. After spending a couple of years as a games artist in London, he returned home to Glasgow to pursue a career as a digital artist. Michael's work involves using photography and Photoshop to create a fusion of colour, texture and detail to create very exciting original pieces of digital artwork. Subjects vary from enhanced photographs of architecture to complex photo collages involving various objects from the urban environment. Collections may be found in Starbucks, Glasgow, The Scottish Arts Council Office, Edinburgh, and various offices, bars, and cafes in Glasgow. He has had two solo exhibitions, a group show and regularily takes part in art events. Further shows are planned for the year in and around Glasgow.
